    Beatrice Qualls, age 61, of Story, Arkansas passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at her home. She was born June 1, 1953 in Mt. Ida to the late Jessie James Lambert and Lola Mandy Jane Ballew. She was a lifelong resident of Story, and a member of the Refuge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Boyd Qualls, her parents, one brother Alvin Lambert, a sister Pat Davis and two nephews Stevie Ragsdale and Jonathan Lambert.

    Visitation will be Thursday July 17, 2014 6-8 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida
    Funeral services will be Friday, July 18, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Refuge Baptist Church in Story with Brother Tommy Jones and Brother Ronnie Noles officiating. Pallbearers: Jay Hutts, Scotty Lambert, Morgan Lambert, Chris Ragsdale, Tracy Smith and Terry Kinsey. Honorary Pallbearers: Members of the Refuge Baptist Church, Alton Abernathy, Mike Webb and Ronnie Wallace. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida.
